Wonderful place to stay, ideally located for trips out. Husthwaite is a gorgeous and friendly village with lots of public footpaths. The house is very comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots and pans. The yard is lovely and sunny. We had everything we needed for an amazing stay.

We have just spent the week here for Christmas. A beautiful conversion, very warm and cosy.
Lovely views towards the white horse. Real bonus the bedrooms having en suite. The kitchen is large and we had plenty of room for five people. It is well equipped and clean. Inside is so so homely with gorgeous furniture and nice rugs. The village itself is peaceful, my daughter brought her dog and the locals always chatted when we were out on walks. We have self catered for 30 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed.
The owner Yasmina deserves recognition, a lovely lady and very helpful, I had a problem with a towel rail holder ( our fault ) plus a mark one of the children left on a radiator she was so understanding and told me not to worry.
Thank you… your property is stunning we can’t wait to return and we had a magical Christmas at Colton loft

We spent a lovely week here at the end of October. It was warm and cosy and had everything for a convenient self catering stay. The en-suite rooms were great as we were 3 couples staying together. The cottage was really convenient for visiting York and the moors. The Tomahawk Steak House was just a minutes walk away which did a great breakfast as well as steak. We also went on an alpaca walk with Beacon alpacas which is within walking distance on the edge of the village. We were blessed with beautiful autumn weather so had a great view of the White Horse from the sitting room window. Thank you Yasmina for making us so welcome and allowing us to stay on a little longer to finish watching the Rugby final on the Saturday morning
